Our Via Francigena journey has just been featured in the Telegraph Travel, did you spot it? They dedicated the whole article to our journey from Tuscany to Rome. Here’s a little snippet of it... _______________________________ @TheTelegraph ‘How to tackle the most beautiful cycling route in Italy? A target gives purpose to a bike ride, and the news that the pilgrimage route to Rome has been resurrected as a cycling trail is an invitation to saddle up. Completed in 2016 after a 10-year campaign of marking and mapping, the Via Francigena is the longest signposted cycle route in Italy: 620 miles from the Great St Bernard Pass to St Peter’s. For an easier and more sociable holiday, I joined a guided group organised by the cycling tour operator Saddle Skedaddle, which has added the last 200 miles of the Via Francigena to its programme: a “leisure cycling” ride through the olive groves and vine-clad hills of fashionable Tuscany and Lazio.’ ______________________________ Read the whole article on our Facebook page! ______________________________ Trip: Italy - Via Francigena (Tuscany to Rome) ______________________________ 📸 Photo by Alessandro Gallo

One of the main highlights in and around the Faroe Islands is all of the islands are accessible either by sub-sea tunnels, bridges, or ferries.
Don't get us wrong, bike paths are a rare commodity in the Faroe Islands. However, due to the low volume traffic on most roads the destination is popular for cycling.
According to the Faroe Islands tourism website, “Your bike must have a bell, a white reflector visible from the front, yellow reflectors on the pedals and wheels and a red reflector at the back.” This is in the event that you must go through a tunnel, which can be very dark.
